1ST Avenue North

 

60/17 MCSHANNOCK      That the reconstruction of 1st Avenue North scheduled for

                                    2017 has been deferred to 2018, due to budget restraints.

             Reports

            

Roads and Streets                Regular maintenance will be completed as required, including graveling and grading of streets and roads.

 

                                          Two additional streetlights were installed along Hwy #263.The street lighting on Hwy #263 is now completed.

 

Maintenance                        The Village will be placing flower pots on sidewalks as opposed to placing a pot at each commercial business. Maintenance of flowers pots will be done by Village’s maintenance person.

67/17    MCSHANNOCK   That the Village donate $5000.00 to CPL for the upgrade

                                 Of Christopher Lake’s skating rink; and that further

                                 Donations by the Village shall require a written Business

                                 Plan: and that the council shall review and or approve    

                                 additional funding following a review of plan.

Order to Remedy Lot 22 & 23 Block 6 Plan # 77PA16989

 

68/17    MCSHANNOCK   That the Bylaw Officer issue an Order to Remedy to Lot 22 & 23 Block 6 Plan #77PA16989 to remove all garbage, lumber, and furniture from the lot and that this shall be completed June 30th,2017 in accordance with Sections 5 and 11 of Bylaw No.2/06( The Nuisance Abatement Bylaw) the property is hereby declared a nuisance because it is untidy and unsightly; is dangerous to the public health and safety; is detrimental to the amenities of the neighbourhood and adversely effects the enjoyment of their

                                             property: and that any cost incurred by the Village in remedying the contravention of Bylaw No.2/06 shall be recovered by adding the amount to and thereby forming part of the taxes on the property on which the work is done in accordance with Section 369 of The Municipalities Act.

69/17    HENDERSON        That the Bylaw Officer issue an Order to Remedy to Lot 13 Block 05 Plan #70PA01373 to remove, demolish, and or reconstruct house from the lot and that this shall be completed by August 31st,2017 in accordance with Sections 5,6 and 7 of Bylaw No.2/06( The Nuisance Abatement Bylaw) the property is hereby declared a nuisance because of a building in a ruinous or a dilapidated state of repair; is detrimental to the amenities of the neighbourhood and adversely effects the enjoyment of their
