Conflict of Interest
Councillor McShannock has declared a conflict of interest in regards to the Lakeland & District Co-operativeVolunteer Fire Department where he is currently serving as Fire Chief for 2017. Councillor McShannock has disclosed, abstained , refrained and shall leave all meetings with discussions and resolutions involving the Lakeland & District Co-operativeVolunteer Fire Department.
18/17 CARRUTHERS That the agenda of the February 15, 2017 regular meeting
of Council be accepted as presented.
19/17 MCSHANNOCK That the minutes January 18, 2017 regular meeting of
Council be accepted as presented.
Business Arising from the Minutes
20/17 HENDERSON That the Village contract Angela DiPaolo to apply for
Provincial and Federal Grants relating to creating a healthy
and safe environment for the residents and tourist of the
Village of Christopher Lake; and that DiPaolo shall receive
A percentage based on the dollar amount of grants awarded
to the Village.

21/17 MCSHANNOCK That the CAO shall be meeting with Absolute Identification in regards to the possibility of contracting a part time Bylaw Enforcement Officer: and that the information assembled shall be presented to the next regular meeting of Council on March 29th,2017.

Lagoon User Agreement
25/17 CARRUTHERS That the Council of the Village of Christopher Lake has
Opted out of the Lagoon User Agreement with the District
Of Lakeland for 2017; and that the Council acknowledges
this agreement only benefits a small portion of the Village
Of Christopher lake and therefore it should be up to the
Individual users and or companies to pay the additional
26/17 MCSHANNOCK That the Council is requesting a formal review of the 2016
Census population and dwelling count for the Village of
